I recently heard of this place and have been interested in checking it out. This weekend, I was traveling through Faribault and decided to stop in and try it. I'm glad I did! I'm a big fan of the atmosphere and the history of it. The good was great, and the service did well. All of this at a fair current price. All prices are higher compared to a fews ago, but the quality matched the pricing of today's market. I do get annoyed with the service charge a lot of restaurants are adding, but this one only totaled $1.75 for me. I'm be back when I'm in the area.

Lou approved and dog friendly on the patio! We had a really nice lunch (beet salad and crab cakes) on the fenced back patio - tables have large umbrellas for shade. Local spirits from 10,000 Drops and Traditionalist are available, as are gluten free buns. We will definitely be back to try mode of the options on the large menu with a wide variety of good food options.

My husband I had our Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding at the Depot one year ago today. We came back for our anniversary celebration. On our honeymoon we went to Paris and had French onion soup several time. I had the French Onion soup today at the Depot and we agree it is better than what we had in Paris. We also had a new dish of theirs, The LaBeau French Dip, created by the owner and Chef - a unique and delicious take on the classic French Dip served in French Onion Soup. Everyone needs to try it!

1st time in several years since I had the chance to eat here! Not disappointed, but not overwhelmed, either. For a busy Sunday, afternoon, the service was very good, not exceptional. They may have been a bit understaffed.(The bartender asked a server for help with food orders, due to backlog). I always enjoyed the ambiance of the restored depot, and got to enjoy the passing of a train while eating! My Cuban sandwich was quite delicious! However, my wife's Fish Hogey was underwhelming as was my grandson's mac & cheese. I would be happy to give them another try, given the opportunity!

This place is awesome , best food I've ever had, nice staff. I love this place. 10/10
